FADES® is not photochromic technology (like Transitions®), and works indoors and in cars. Typically 70 to 7% transmission for “light” electrochromic lenses.
Typically 50 to 1% transmission for “dark” electrochromic lenses.
These Light/Dark percent transmission contrast values are the highest reported to date. Note that these transmission values are measured against air reference, unlike other products which report against substrate reference to enhance their numbers.
