Ours isn't photochromic technology and works indoors and in cars. Our eyewear transitions within about 2 seconds, has exceptional light/dark contrast, has run over 1.2 million transition cycles without observable loss of function, and lasts more than 30 hours on a single, quick charge.

CONTRAST

Typically 70 to 7% transmission for “light” version.
Typically 50 to 1% transmission for “dark” version.

These Light/Dark percent transmission contrast values are the highest reported to date.

SWITCHING TIMES

Dark to light transition is nearly instantaneous. Light to dark transition takes less than two seconds. This is the fastest switching time of any polymer electrochromic material to date.
